Junior Church is held downstairs every Sunday. We join with the older members of the congregation for the very beginning of the service.
The very youngest (babies up to three years old) go to crèche with a parent, this held in a room overlooking the worship area where the service is relayed.
The three to nine year olds meet together for news, birthdays and a song before splitting into their two groups. They follow age-appropriate Scripture Union notes which might include a Bible story, craft work or drama.
The ten plus group meet over refreshments before launching into their own Scripture Union session. This could include watching a DVD or computer animation, interactive Bible study, drama, creative writing or craft as well as a worship or prayer item.
We all seem to have a good time at Junior Church, whatever our age, and our groups are growing in size. We're a friendly bunch. Please come and join us and find out for yourself.
