Prayer Circle
The Prayer Circle meets each Wednesday lunchtime in term time, in the home of Mary Lewin. It starts at 1.30pm and lasts about 20 minutes. It is a very relaxed meeting; spoken or silent prayer are both welcome.

Local Preachers' Training Day - "Entering into the story of Lent and Holy Week and at Easter"
Revd Russell Bowman-Eadie
Every season of the church's year has its owns distinctive song. We'll find that 'narrative preaching' in its different forms is a mode of communication which can reach parts other kinds of preaching cannot reach.

This training day is run in conjuction with the College of Preachers, and is open to preachers in any denomination. If you would like to attend please contact Bert Quayle (844157) for more information and to book a place.

Lent Lunch
Lunches will be served every Thursday during Lent in the Cooill Methodist Hall from 12 noon to 2 pm. This will consist of soup, roll and a sweet for £4. All proceeds will help Tearfund's "Work a Miracle" project, helping children orphaned by Aids and caring for their siblings to go to school, eat nutritious food and access medical care. Come and enjoy a lunch with friends.

Lent Course
The Lord's Prayer - praying it, meaning it, living it. This year's Lent course is to help us pray and live out the Lord's Prayer, Fridays 7-9pm at the Salvation Army Citadel.

Lent Study
Many of us find prayer difficult at times and it is then that we can take our inspiration from the Bible. Different aspect of prayer and Biblical texts will be explored each week, and will conclude with a time for silent reflection. Each session is held twice, Monday evenings (7.30pm) and Tuesday mornings (10.30am).

All of the meetings are held in St Ninian's new church centre, and all are welcome.

Roy Moore's Quiz Night
There has been a mix up in the dates for Roy Moore's Quiz evening. The new date for the quiz is one week later on Saturday, 23rd of February at 7.30 pm in the top hall. Adults £6 Children £2.50, including supper. A Raffle will be held. All proceeds are in aid of Rebecca House (Children's Hospice), Methodist Relief and Development Fund and Church Funds.
