Walk and Talk
Walk and Talk is a social walk around a variety of areas near Douglas and a little bit further afield. The walk is non-strenuous and is normally suitable for all abilities, including children.
The walk on Saturday 7th is along Marine Drive (and returning the same way this time). Please drive as far as the barrier (Douglas side) and meet there at 7.30 p.m. We will then stroll on towards the Brooghs and Keristal. For more details, contact Mary Lewin.

Prayer Circle
The Prayer Circle meets each Wednesday lunchtime in term time, in the home of Mary Lewin. It starts at 1.30pm and lasts about 20 minutes. It is a very relaxed meeting; spoken or silent prayer are both welcome.

Conquering the Dragon
The story of how God spoke into one man's life of crime, changing it forever. This event is being held on Friday 13th June at Tower House, Douglas, from 7 for 7.30pm. There will be a two course meal and tickets cost £13 each. The Speaker will be Rev Kim Goh, who was formerly a member of the infamous Chinese Triad gangs operating in the UK. He now serves as a Methodist minister in Leicestershire.
This will be a great event, and ideal for interested non-Christian friends. Tickets are available from The Well Bookshop, Broadway, Tel 622284.
A joint initiative of Trinity Methodist Church & Broadway Baptist Church, Douglas

Parish Walk
The Parish Walk is an 85 mile walking race around the Isle of Man, visiting all 17 parish chruches along the way, within 24 hours.
There are a number of the congregation doing the Parish Walk this year. For those who have not sponsored anyone already, Martin and Hayley are hoping to get to Peel and will be raising money for the Manx Asthma Association, and Becky is raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Any sponsorship would be very much appreciated.

Sunday Night at the Prom
A very varied programme of concerts, featuring many talented people on the Island. Admission is free and refreshments will be served following the concert.

Island-wide Breakfast
Noel Fellowes will talk at the Breakfast (open to men and women). He is a former Police officer and was accused and found guilty of murdering a man he had never met. He was imprisoned for seven years before the miscarriage of justice was uncovered. Being a former Police officer his life was made hell by the other prisoners. His subsequent coming to faith has enabled him to forgive even those whose false evidence set him up. The title of his talk is "Killing Time".
Contact David Holmes on 622238.
