Embracing clouds,
whispering winds,
singing seas,
remind us of the presence of God.
We give thanks for creative love.
History engraved on landscape,
landscape embraced by buildings,
remind us of the present God.
We give thanks for sustaining love.
Headlights moving in the dark,
trails of roads,
engines racing,
remind us of the prersistent God.
We give thanks for transforming love.
Banner headlines,
footsore politicians,
strident voices,
remind us of the pertinent God.
We give thanks for restoring love.
In beauty,
history,
challenge
and change
we are held by the love of God
who would make us and all things new.
